Daniel joined Surrey Police in 2018 in an IT role for Police Staff. In 2021 he became a Data Analyst and also a Cyber Crime Volunteer and Police Cadet Leader. Daniel joined the Surrey and Sussex Cyber Crime Unit full time in early 2023 to provide advice and support to victims and businesses.

Another focus is to empower Officers/Staff with the confidence and knowledge to discuss Cyber Crime prevention with members of the communities they serve as well as maintain their own Cyber-Hygiene.

Though new in role, Daniel has a particular interest in ensuring upcoming generations are increasingly Cyber-Aware and will be a proactive resource for Cyber Crime prevention in Surrey and Sussex.

Sussex and Surrey Police have a joint cyber crime unit that is responsible for delivering specialist and niche capabilities to cyber crime victims.

To assist in reducing the impact and disruption of a fraud or cyber Attack, we have a free Cyber Incident Response Plan for you to use.
