Cyber security tips for your business as remote working rises

Updated: Nov 5, 2021

Following Boris Johnson’s announcement on Tuesday 29th September where he asked office workers who can work from home to do so again, businesses will inevitably experience another increase in remote working. Whether you are a sole trader or small business owner, trying to understand what cyber security measures you need to update or put in place probably seems complex and perhaps confusing.

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has put together this guidance to help you determine how ready your business is to move online and to identify any new cyber security measures you should put in place. The guidance focuses on four key areas that you should look at to help improve your cyber security: · Dealing with new ways of working · Assessing the cyber security of your business · Talking to your IT Service Providers · Security as a foundation for future growth You can find the full guidance here.
